Can anyone suggest any case or cases other than Cemex that can vividly describe the role of IT in creating capabilities for leveraging global resources? I am aware of how IT vendors and BPO providers are using IT but I am looking for examples of IT using companies from other industries. Specifically, how can one use IT to leverage China or India market from a US firm's perspective, how can one use IT to leverage China or India as a source from a US firm's perspective? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
